LOCATION
The Sunflower Hotel, like its sister the 4* Hotel Santana, 800 meters away, is situated just a few minutes walk from the picturesque Qawra & Bugibba promenade in the northern part of Malta. This popular area, Qawra, lies half way between the old village of St Paul's Bay and Salina Bay. The semi detached Sunflower Hotel, is situated in a residential location, just off the main thoroughfare, Tourist street, and within walking distance to the popular Bugibba centre where one can find a Casino, a Multiplex Cinema, shops, discos, restaurants, bars and easy access to Bus routes, which gives greater mobility to visitors wishing to visit the numerous cultural and touristic sites around the island.
ACCOMMODATION
The hotel has 6 floors. All Hotel Rooms are tastefully finished in rustic style and furnished to offer relaxation and comfort. The majority of Standard Rooms are available with twin beds, and generally can sleep up to three adults or two adults and one child. Double bedded rooms are available on request. Twin rooms for sole use are available at a supplement. Standard Rooms are also available in the specially designated non smoking floor. Main features within the rooms include balcony, en suite bath and shower, cable TV, hair dryer, ceiling fan, central heating & air conditioning, safety deposit box, electric current 240 volts, continental socket available in each room and a direct telephone line.
FACILITIES
As the name implies, the Amaryllis 24hour Internet Bar, located close to the Reception Area, is open on a 24 hour basis and apart from Internet facilities, offers a selection of hot and cold beverages, snacks, and scrumptious pastries any time of day and night!
DINING
Situated at ground floor level is The Geranium Restaurant. This restaurant with adjacent terraces, offering a seating capacity of approximately 150 persons, is designed in traditional Maltese décor throughout, with arched stone doorways, wrought iron furnishings and typical old Maltese decorations. The Geranium, which is open for Breakfast and Dinner, offers a variety of buffet meals, which also include a number of vegetarian options and a selection of local dishes. Breakfast is Continental Style with cooked breakfast as an added option.
LEISURE
Situated on the ground floor, next to the Reception, this area comprises an indoor heated pool with jacuzzi and cascading waterfall, Fitness Room, Games room, Treatment Room, Relaxation Area and also shower facilities. Situated on the 7th floor enjoying magnificent sea and country views, the outdoor pool complete with jacuzzi area, separate children's pool, and surrounding sun terraces is definitely the ideal location for catching up with your holiday sun tan.
